Dr Ambedkar Samman Scholarship Scheme: Assembly elections are going to be held in Delhi in the next few months. If we look at the last few days, Aam Aadmi Party convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced one scheme after another for the citizens of Delhi.
First he announced the launch of Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana. So after that he announced to provide free treatment to the elderly through Sanjeevani Yojana. So now, amidst the ongoing controversy in the Parliament regarding Dr. Ambedkar, he has announced to start a new scholarship scheme in the name of Dr. Ambedkar for the students coming from SC ST category of the state. Students will get the benefit of Dr. Ambedkar Samman Scholarship
Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal launched a scheme in the honor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar yesterday i.e. on 21st December, the name of this scheme is Dr. Ambedkar Samman Scholarship Scheme. Under this, students belonging to SC ST category of Delhi will get benefit. Under this scheme, the entire expense of higher education abroad of SC ST category students will be borne by the Delhi Government.

Regarding the scheme, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “I want to ensure that no person from the Dalit community is deprived of higher education. For this, I am announcing Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship. Now no one from the Dalit community will be deprived of higher education. “Any student who wants to study in top universities across the world will bear the expenses of the students after their admission.”

Government will bear the entire cost of education
Let us tell you that under Dr. Ambedkar Samman Scholarship, any student of SC-ST category of Delhi gets admission in any foreign university. So the Delhi government will bear the entire expense of his education, his travel and his stay. Not only this, children of government employees will also be included in this scheme of Delhi Government. However, at present not much information has been given regarding the implementation of this scheme. An announcement can be made soon about when the scheme will start.
